Rachel Meyer Rachel founded Active Motion Physical Therapy (PT) in 1994 after 10 years of experience in sports and orthopedic PT. Upon graduating form the PT program at SUNY Stony Brook in 1983 she worked with college team athletes in an academic health center. Her skill and knowledge base were further honed by serving as a clinical educator for Cybex Corp. Moving on to supervisory positions in private practice settings provided the inspiration for Active Motion PT. With additional education, including graduate courses at the University of Pittsburgh and ongoing continuing education programs throughout the years, Rachel brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her patients as well as the staff of Active Motion. As an equestrian she can provide special insight into dealing with the injuries associated with her own sport. Rachel continues to enjoy the treatment of spine and sports injuries in addition to other orthopedic conditions while serving as the administrative director of the practice.
William Coughlin Bill graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a doctorate in physical therapy in 2007. Since graduation he gained clinical experience in acute and subacute rehabilitation, outpatient acute care and homecare settings. He has taken multiple continuing education courses in both neuropathic and orthopedic rehabilitation to hone his skills. Bill also serves as a clinical instructor to physical therapy students.
Regine Lilavois Regine graduated with her bachelor degree in Health Science from SUNY Stony Brook in 2004. Shortly thereafter she attended Touro College School of Health Science where she graduated in 2008 with her doctorate in physical therapy. Regine has clinical experience in rehabilitation, acute hospital care, and orthopedics rehabilitation.
Fitness Trainer Donald Hauner Don is the head fitness trainer and owner of Fitness Infinity. He holds over 7 current national certifications and has over 14 years experience. His affiliation with Active Motion expands optional services to individuals looking to receive the best in personal training.
